Near the parking lot for Pilot Knob State Nature Preserve
This camo click-n-lock cache is hidden near the parking lot, but just outside the state nature preserve. To make it interesting we placed a Japanese coin, a Chinese coin and a travel bug to start it out.
We recommend that you hike the 1.2 miles up to Pilot Knob and get a good view of the surrounding countryside. There is a lot of sandstone and conglomerate rocks. You can either return on the same 1.2 mile trail, or take a 2 mile loop called Sage Point trail that connects off of the main trail. Also, near the parking lot is a short Millstone Quarry Trail, although there isn't much to see there.
