Geocache Description:

Another cache in the Landmark Journey series. No, the cache is not in Iowa, but maybe you will be inspired to visit the landmark featured below.

One of the most famous umbrellas in literature is the one made by Robinson Crusoe, the fictional castaway invented by Daniel Defoe. In more modern times, a fine sculpture called Crusoe Umbrella was erected in Des Moines, Iowa by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.

When you find the cache, take note of the information at the top of the log. You’ll need this information, along with information from the rest of the series of Landmark Journey caches, to find the coordinates for the final Landmark Journey cache.
