Come and Flash in London!

Bring a Torch to identify youself as a cacher ... any sort of torch, flashlight, glowstick etc. Switch it on at 6pm.

At precisely 6pm we shall assemble, you'll easily recognise me, I'll be at ground zero with a dog, he will be wearing a flashing collar, you will be asked to sign the log to show your geocaching name and how many in your party, we'll take a group photo, share some refreshments ... sweets (yeh!), swap TBs, chat and disperse by 6.15pm.

Want to learn more about the history of Flash Mobs? See this link.

November 8th is also the day of The Lord Mayors Show and at 5pm the area around the Southbank will be busy for The Lord Mayors Fireworks Display, why not come to town, do some caching and watch the fireworks before winding up at the Flash Mob event?

This is one of a number of Flash Mob events being held simultaneously around the world at the same time. Here's a link to the others!

For the unititiated, a Flash Mob event is a micro event, which takes place at a given time and lasts for a specific time. The idea is that if you arrive early, you blend in and look inconspicuous until the event begins on the stroke of 6 pm. At precisely 6.15 pm we shall disband and go our separate ways. Although in reality some may go off caching or socialising afterwards at a nearby watering hole!

MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED!

PROVISIONAL COUNT IS 65
