Le site est occupé dès l’époque celte, et un bourg s’y développe.
Un château est construit à la fin du XIIe siècle. Au XVe siècle, le château, jusqu’alors propriété de la famille de Lutzelstein est conquis par les Comtes Palatin. L’un de ces comtes, George Jean de Veldenz, développe l’exploitation forestière et minière. Lors de la guerre de Trente Ans, et par la suite, la ville devient d’une grande importance stratégique.
La ville vit aujourd’hui du tourisme.
Pour trouver le trésor sortir des enceintes par la place de jeux, « rectangle bleu » puis, sur le sentier des remparts tournez à droite et longez les fortifications pour déboucher devant l'entrée du « Lac » qui n'est qu'un astucieux système de citernes pour plus d'information vous trouverez sur place un panneau d'information qui a pour vous un double intérêt.
Le signal à la cache étant très faible munissez vous du spoiler et de l'indice crypté. Un stylo se trouve dans la cache, merci de l'y laisser et de bien recacher la boîte beaucoup de touristes passant sur le secteur.
A environ 5 minutes à pied vous trouverez une autre cache, profitez-en !

The place has been occupied since Celtic times, and a town developed there.
A castle was built in the late 12th century. During the 15th century, the castle, previously owned by the family of Lutzelstein is conquered by the Counts Palatine. One of these counts, George Jean Veldenz developed forestry and mining. During the Thirty Years War, and later the city became of great strategic importance. The city today lives off tourism.
To find the treasure, go down the path at the end of the playground following the "blue rectangle" then, on the trail of the ramparts turn right and walk along the fortifications that leads to the entrance of the "Lake" which is a clever tank system for more information you will find a sign at the entrance (which has a double interest to you).
The signal there is very low, grab your spoiler and encrypted hint. A pen is in the cache, please leave it there and please hide very carefully the box once you're done because of the many tourists in the area.
