ABOUT MY GRANDPA

In my grandpa’s life there were many things that he loved, most of all was his family. Each spring he would travel an hour north to go dip net fishing for a month. Each fall he would travel a bit further north to pursue the great white tail deer hunt. He truly loved the out of doors. He was married to my grandma for 60+ years. They lived on a small farm and had lots of different animals, from a pet peacock to a famous cat. She holds the 2002 Guinness world book record for having the most toes. As he got older, he still was very active. He loved to play cards and go to parades. At the age of 90, he was still driving and getting around. He loved to tell stories and it seemed each story lead to another. So when you visit him at the cemetery listen very closely and you might hear one of those stories. May he rest in peace. We miss and love him.

CACHE INFORMATION

The listed coordinates will take you to the headstone for my Grandpa. From there you will have to read the headstone and find the needed information in order to find the cache. You will need to count the number of certain letters on the headstone and do some simple math to get the final coordinates.

The actual cache is located at N 43 19.ABC W 083 45.XYZ

To solve for A, B, C, X, Y, and Z, use the following equations. The small letters are equal to the number of letters of that letter that is engraved on the headstone.

Be sure to count the letters of both sides.

A = i + j + r
B = e - v
C = t + u + g + f
X = l
Y = z + d + m - y
Z = a + n
