HIke to summit of peak above summit lake
Park at the parking lot near the top of the pass. Follow the switchbacks up to a group of tarns, and then follow the ridge to the left up to the summit along a decent trail. Find this cache below a boulder on the north side of the ridge a few feet from the peak. It is behind some stacked stones, in the vicinity of a few quartz stones and some old wire wrapped around a rock. Replace the stones as this has significant Muggle potential. Hour up and 45 min down if youre fit. double if not. 1000ft elevation gain. Tops out at 4831 and has fabulous 360 views from knik glacier to willow bring your camera. Hit Quadrupeds Quartz on the same trip. You will see several windbreaks that people have built.
