Soccer Practice Hide Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located off a trail near the river. You can park near the baseball field at Bushnell. The container is about the size of a large PB jar so it can hold some small trinkets. In times of high water, I'm sure this area could get pretty flooded. Although it shouldn't affect the cache, I wouldn't search for it during these times.

For a brief time in the fall, my oldest daughter plays soccer. Seems we practically live at Bushnell Park for these few weeks. During games, I always sit and watch the game in it's entirety. But for practices however, I usually wander about, go for walks, bike rides....etc with my youngest daughter. This time, while on our walk, we hid a cache. There are several different ways you could take to get to this cache, some are easier than others. If you take one way in, you might want to take another way out, just for fun. Any way you take, it's a nice walk and it takes you down near the river. There is an old railroad bridge near the site which is fun to explore, but be very careful!!!! If you walk on it beware that there are no railings and it has missing/loose planks!!
