Geocache Description:

Cache is only about 0.2mi up the Long Canyon trail. This is a well marked, hard pack trail with mild elevation gains. RT from car to cache should be 20min or less.

This is the replacement cache to one of my old Be Mine series caches that disappeared. I like the spot a lot given the views and the rock and lichen formations that I wanted to keep a cache here. The cache is hidden only about 200ft off the trail on a rocky overlook of Wood Ranch. Be aware of snakes and other animals that might be living nearby. Use a hiking stick to poke in areas before reaching in. Enjoy the cache and the views.
