Geocache Description:

A camo'ed one kilogram peanut butter jar (well washed for the nut allergic). The cache contains a log book, pencil, of course an FTF certificate, and some kid friendly trade items.

Park on the south side of Roblin near the driveway into the parking lot at Beaudry Park. The field access road will take you over the old road bed of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, and past a Control Survey marker (which I will post on Waymarking.com when I get the time). If you stick to the vehicle path it will be a bushwacking-free trip to the cache, at least until the last 20 m. This area is one of the secrets of Beaudry Park, and I thought cachers should enjoy it. A small dam placed near the old rail bed acts to create a string of lakes that heads upstream to Wilkes Ave. The wet summer has left the road very muddy and full of puddles, but it is a great place to watch the ducks and geese.
