**This cache is dedicated to my father, who recently passed away
after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.**
My father was a wise man and influenced his kids in science, the
great outdoors and having fun. Most importantly we were taught
basic rules to live by which would help us become productive and
respected members of the community.
During one of his talks Dad said, "Now listen to me."
"Lazy people are soon poor. A wise child brings joy to a
father."
He paused briefly, took a breath and continued
"A foolish child brings grief to a mother."
He then made the point:
"We have happy memories of the godly.
And the words of the godly are a life-giving fountain".
Then he said "Well"
"Babbling fools fall flat on their faces.
A wise youth harvests in the summer."
He then paused before saying-
"But one who sleeps during harvest is a disgrace."
Taking an easy breath, he continued
"Honesty guides good people"
Then he pointed at me and said,
"The godly are directed by honesty.
The wicked fall beneath their load of sin."
And he ended with
"Dishonesty destroys treacherous people."
Since I've been following these words, my life has been quite
joy filled and wonderful!
