Geocache Description:

A nice cache and dash situated on an old railway bridge between the villages of Frankton and Birdingbury. Please use the railway bridge that crosses the river do not cross on foot

Situated on the National Cycle Network 41. The bridge carried the railway track towards Dunchurch from the Marton Junction where the intersection to Weedon is found and is the location for another cache. Muggles are about but seem to go left not right when going onto pathway.
Parking at N52 19.128 W001 22.090. The co-ordinates for the cache N52 19.051 W001 22.230 are for a point on the bridge , if you go to this point and look over the side the cache is right below you!!!
The cache has been muggled so a new location has been found very close to the original hole in the bridge.
The cache is a plastic box usual log and pencil,
Renault F1 Lanyard
Various goodies

For anyone interested, when retuning to parking place, if you walk straight on the old station is on the left hand side which has been converted into a house. Plus if you do a search for a guy called cliffjones on railways he has great photos of all bridges and junctions.

Congratulations to Thornproof on FTF sorry about abandoning dinner!! Equal congrats to Haggis and Navy wifie and Pyrodave on being joint second to find(only half an hour in it)but scrambling about in the dark is great fun though!!

Please note the best and safest route to the cache is to park up on the gravel bank that leads up to the cycle route then to follow the disused railway line over the bridge. Do not try and cross the river or try to reach it any other way as to dangerous.
