HawkWalks 2 Traditional Cache
Hyperion Hawks: As these caches have been around for nearly 8 years, and we are moving to a different part of Stourbridge, time to put them to bed.

1 of a series of 4 geocaches, which combine to make a circular walk at Lawnswood near Stourbridge. Visit all 4 caches to collect co-ordinates for the bonus cache. There are other HawkWalks caches, but they don't contain co-ordinates for any bonus caches.
The 4 HawkWalks geocaches, if done in numerical order, make a circular, anti-clockwise walk. With the aid of a map, the route of the walk should be fairly obvious. After cache 2 do not follow the direction that your gps may suggest for HawkWalks 3 if you want to do the circular walk. Rather, carry on along the same path and then walk up Hunters Ride(one of Stourbridge’s more exclusive roads) and at the end turn left along Lawnswood. This then takes you past the scene of a notorious murder, before you reach cache 3.
These are 4 small containers, a little bigger that a film canister, with a small logbook, and room for small geocoins but not much else.
Terrain and routefinding should not be difficult, although some mud in wet weather.
Suggested parking for the series of 4 caches and the bonus is either the southern end of Bells Lane Wordsley or the northern side of Hyperion Road Stourton.
Unless you are an expert, allow 2 hours to do the 4 caches and the bonus.
IMPORTANT NOTE. The location of the bonus cache has changed slightly. Anyone who visited this cache before 3.00pm on 24 January 2009 will not have the updated co-ordinates for the bonus cache and should contact us for the details as we don't expect you to revisit HawkWalks 2, unless you want to, of course.
