Superman, Where are you now? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

january14: When this cache was placed, it was placed as the 3rd cache in Dallas County. Didn't turn out that way, but it's certainly an old cache. Anyway, I knew one day it would disappear and it appears to be gone. Thanks to all that searched for it.

Geocache Description:

Keyholder in a familiar spot

If you are of a certain age, you'll remember that Clark Kent could change into his Superman costume in a blink of an eye using any available phone booth. Didn't you always wonder how it was that nobody ever noticed him doing it? I know I did. But, that was the magic of Superman.

In todays world there are very few phone booths left, since they have now figured out the technology necessary to waterproof phones. Of course, they are completely unable to waterproof your cell phone and we know why. It's so you'll have to buy a new cell phone when you drop it in a puddle.

We were driving into Dallas County today to pick up the two caches (UPDATE: Dallas County now has Many caches) available in the whole county. This was after leaving Marion, so you should be able to figure out from which direction we were coming. As we arrived at this intersection, it was apparent that the Selma area had a boom in commercialism with major businesses on all 4 corners. Therefore, this area deserved a quick Park and Grab cache that anyone can find. Muggles may be a problem, but they are all interested in their own lives and your activities will probably go unnoticed. There is plenty of parking near the cache.
