OHW#1.....Please Come to Boston Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TeamPatchwork: Went and checked on this one, and it's been muggled and trashed. With new construction/new business at the cache site, it's time to put this one to bed.

Geocache Description:

A small cache containing a few trade items.

Welcome to the One Hit Wonders series of caches!

In 1974, Dave Loggins scored chart success with his song "Please Come to Boston". The song went to #5 in June of 1974, and stayed there for an astounding 23 weeks.

Dave Loggins never reached the level of success of his cousin, Kenny Loggins, and faded into obscurity, although this song brings fond memories to all that remember it.

Just like the song, you used to be able to go to Boston at the cache location. Although that place is gone now, it still brings fond memories to those who loved it.

The cache itself is a small, rubbermaid type container with a logbook, a few trade items, as well as a FTF envelope with a DulcimerGuy Pathtag and a Patchwork "Party on a Keychain" for the lucky first finder.

I hope you will please come to Boston.
