This is a large, lone cedar tree overlooking a meandering creek.
Once upon a time, this location was a cattle outpost. Later Boy Scouts used it as an out post camp while visiting Camp Chawanakee. It has been abandoned, the buildings are gone, although there is still some evidence of their existence. What stands is a lone sentinel, an ancient cedar tree that stands guard and acts as a grave marker for this historical site. Look for a blue container at eye level in a tree nearby.
