I Know It's Around Here Somewhere... Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

A fairly typical cache hidden in a less used local park.

***02/10/2018--ELIGIBLE FOR ADOPTION***

This past weekend a brand new cache popped up right in this spot. Being close to home I embarked on a perfect opportunity for some FTF action! After two lengthy searches and no cache I set my ambitions aside and waited for others to make the find and maybe provide some guidance as to where I had gone astray.

A few days later, it was finally discovered...over 15 miles away!

The owner had updated the coords after noting my failed attempts to find. Usually erroneous coords are pretty easy to spot as the GZ is somewhere it shouldn't be (e.g. on top of a house), but this hide location was really good, and the terrain & difficulty were just right, so I was really perplexed.

So in honor of this ephemeral local cache, I have placed a more permanent cache of my own to mark the spot.

I've made it a bit easier by including suggested parking coordinates as it took me a while to find a good entrance when I first went hunting.
