Geocache Description:

"Four Mile House" was a tavern south of Fond du Lac on the Military Road, near the East Branch of the Fond du Lac River. It received it's name because it was 4 miles from the village of Fond du Lac. The Four Mile Post Office was established in 1886 and discontinued in 1900. The building still remains, but the highway relocation has changed enough to curb what little business was left. About 3 miles down the road is Seven Mile Creek. Any idea how that got it's name? Congrats to JT CacheFinder on FTF!
