Geocache Description:

On the track from Tambourine Bay Park, Riverview and River Rd. At the 'Rustic Bridge' sign turn around 180deg. You will see a rock shaped like a mountain. Our cache is on the left of this rock.

You can approach the cache from 2 directions:
- River Rd / Longueville heading towards Riverview
- Tambourine Bay heading towards Lane Cove / Longueville

Our Scout hall / boatshed is on the water in Tambourine Bay. This is a beautiful bay on the Lane Cove River with views to Hunters Hill, Longueville and Riverview School. The coordinates of our hall are S33.82794 E151.16192.

The bush track starts near our boatshed. About 600 metres along the track you will see a sign on your right which describes a 'Rustic Bridge' that used to connect Riverview to Longueville more than 100 years ago.

The track is well maintained, is gently undulating, follows a creek and has one small waterfall. There are lots of Angophora trees and other natives. This is a very quiet bush haven considering it is only 4km from the city as the crow flies.
