This cache is set just off of the nature trail that runs across Basildon Golf Course so be aware of people with white balls!
The golf course and Vange Hill Open Space that adjoins it are part of the ridge of hills which run east-west along the south of Essex and are known as the 'Thames Terraces'. They were formed many thousands of years ago by the great river Thames. There are commanding views across the South Essex marshes over the River Thames to Kent.
Tweezers may be an advantage here. There is no pen in the cache so please bring your own writing implement.
PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF BADGER HOLES!
