This cache has been in need of maintenance for over a month. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since my last contact, I am archiving the cache. If you do happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Geocache Description:

Located in park like treed area, flat ground with some underbrush including thistle.

Pete's Excavation is named after my father, Peter Hildebrand who had a small excavation business. One of his projects was the levelling and grading of the meridian of the nearby Lagimodiere Boulevard. Dad was a modest man, but loved to travel and see the world. He never got a chance to see my daughter(and geocashing buddy)but he would have been proud. I'm passing along to my daughter my faith in God and zest for travel/adventure.
The cache itself is in a beautiful area with wildlife nearby. Container has logbook, writing stick, various items and FTF Certificate. It's a fun, private spot to scout around. Enjoy.
Update: Oct 27/08 This cache will be more difficult to find if snow cover is present.
