Geocache Description:

The Useless Eustis Ewes have run away!!!
Something has scared them and caused them to escape from their Homestead on top of Eustis Ridge. Although it is not certain why they have run away, it is rumored that a white wolf in the area might have threatened to eat them and caused them to run. Some have not gone far and are hiding near the Homestead on Eustis Ridge. Others have gone very far away and are hiding at local well known locations in the Eustis area. It is your task to find them and make sure they are safe and well hidden from any wolves and other predators in the area!!!

Homestead Cache

This is the home of the Useless Eustis Ewes. Before they ran away, they grazed here and enjoyed looking out over the valley from the Ridge. Now only this large lock&lock box remains here with sheep themed items inside—feel free to bring and trade any sheep items or sheeplike items in this box!! (e.g. wool socks, small sheep, etc…).

You will find the Homestead near the top of Eustis Ridge Road where it intersects with the bottom of Moody Hill Road (you do not need to drive up Moody Hill Road to find the cache).
The cache is located on the corner of private property on the Moody Hill Road side, but the owners (who are also geocachers themselves) know that it is there and if you see them just smile and wave . If you are lucky, the neighborhood “sheep”-dog Barney (an English Springer Spaniel) will help you look for the cache.

It should be available in the winter as the property owners usually create a snowmobile trail that goes right next to the cache location.

Please check on the sheep if you are in the area! They do not need to return to the Homestead Cache------as long as this cache continues to hold sheep-themed items, maybe the wolves will not be able to find the real Useless Eustis Ewes hiding in the valley!!! Thanks
