Geocache Description:

The cache is placed just off one of the numerous footpaths in Kings Wood, Elsecar. The paths can become muddy after rain but this is a lovely woodland well worth a visit.

I recommend parking on the public car park near the entrance to Elsecar Heritage Centre at N53 29.577 W001 25.288. Walk along the road about 20 yards and turn left up the signposted footpath up the gentle slope into Kings Wood. From this point there are a number of paths leading up into/through the woods so I will leave you to plan your own route but I would aim 45 degrees right then veer left along the paths.

The GPS accuracy at time of placement, after several visits to the wood and averaging the coords, was 30 feet so I have added a clue to help. The cache may still prove to be a tricky find.

The cache is a 1 litre tupperware style container covered in cammo tape and it contgains a log book, pen, pencil, sharpener, assorted trade items, FTF card and cache box card.
