Cache is named after the character in "Cars." It's in Melanie Park, a medium-size park hidden in a corner of a small neighborhood. Trade cars if you have 'em.
Yet another park I never knew existed. I spotted it while driving around a few nights ago and thought to myself, "Bet that would be a good place for a cache." And so it is.
It's not a difficult hide, but there's tree cover that may cause your GPSr to go into "best guess" mode. Mine did. For that reason I bumped the difficulty up to 2. There are some brambles and the like, but I didn't see any poison ivy. Biggest challenge (at least this time of year) will be the mosquitos. They're small, but large in number and VERY hungry.
Check out the twisty trees to the south of the hide while you're here. I have no idea what they are, but they somehow remind me of roller coasters.
