Geocache Description:

Although this is not a long walk I would recommend wellies or boots as it can be very muddy! In summer there may be a few nettles so watch out! Nice easy cache- first in the village.

Eaglesham (pronounced "Eagles-ham") is a village in East Renfrewshire. Today it is chiefly a dormitory town for commuters to nearby Glasgow, Paisley and other major urban centres. The village is distinctive in being based around a large triangular green, called the "Orry".
The name comes from the French word for church "eglise" and hamlet meaning village.

The cache is a small lock 'n' lock box, containing the usual logbook and small items. It is on the edge of the Orry, with parking at the side of the road nearby. Please hide well again as it can be quite busy with locals. Stealth required!
