This is a Nano log-only cache so bring your own pen. Celebrate the positive side of Fresno.
This cache is very near a special project of Leadership Fresno’s Class of XXIV. The Leadership Fresno program was founded in 1984 to enhance the skills, resources and civic involvement of community leaders. This year’s class asked the students in the Graphic Design Multimedia Lab at CART (Center for Advanced Research & Technology) to design these bus stop lean rails using themes like Education, Art, Fresno History, Agriculture, etc. It sure was nice of FAX to provide shade and seating for the riders. These were installed in Sept, 2008, around the Fresno area. This cache is a Nano and should be replaced exactly as it was found. Log only; bring your own pen. Easy parking; look out for Muggles so please use your best stealth. The designers of each of these projects would love to have you post a picture of yourself using the lean rail.
There are six more of these projects throughout Fresno designed by students at CART. Two other Lean Rails were too close to other caches, but if you want to see them all #4 can be found at N 36° 48.487 W 119° 49.653 and # 6 can be found at N 36° 51.126 W 119° 46.913. The 7th and last Lean Rail is not placed yet because of local construction. Hopefully there will not be another cache too close by.
