Park alongside Hwy 508 Calabogie Road, at the Eagles Nest blue sign. Hike up marked pathway. Enjoy phenomenal views from the edge of cliff.
This traditional cache is hidden very close to a sacred site with a large commemorative sign. This sacred site is also a scenic lookout with a breathtaking view of the Greater Madawaska Wilderness. To honour the nature and spirit of this site, the historical content of this cache speaks of the “Anishinabe”, the original native people of the area. Found among a small yet enchantingly rugged stand of red and white pines, this challenging cache requires the seeker to be observant of nature in order to see the rocky clue to its exact location.
