This cache is located at one of our favorite spots. We like to bring Lucy up here to let her run around, and there are some beautiful views from the top. You will be walking uphill on a gravel road, past the fire tower and buildings, to a place that has a nice view of Lake Lure. There is a nice place to sit and enjoy the view near the cache site.
Park near the gate at N35 27.627 W82 22.081, and walk up the road behind the gate. Sometimes there are cattle on the property, but they leave you alone, if you leave them alone. The round trip distance is around 2 miles. We hope you enjoy finding this cache.
