Colville Valley View

This is the first in what will be a series of twenty caches that will have you traveling a "loop" from Colville, north on Aladdin Road to near the Canadian border on Deep Lake Boundary Road, and then back around to Colville through Northport and Kettle Falls. The series will have a few little side trips but it should be doable in a day with no problem. Please note that not all of the caches will be placed and active at the same time. We started with #6 and will get them all completed as quickly as we can.

Being the first in the series we wanted to start this cache in Colville.  The location is great for getting a view of the Colville Valley and it is pretty easy to get to. (A goal for the entire scenic loop series.)  From this location you may also catch a glimpse of the huge Vaagen Mill crane in operation.

The location is where it looks like a street may be going through at some time in the future.  I just parked here and walked the short distance to where the cache is hidden.  The cache itself is a smallish container that is covered in camouflage .  It is large enough for the typical log, pencil and sharpener,  and I've also placed a few trinkets but larger items can not be held.

Please be sure to replace and hide well.
