Geocache Description:

The date for this event is Thursday October 23rd, 2008.

The York County Geocaching Society moves north in the county this month and wants to welcome you to an evening of food, fun, and geocaching stories.

This event is open to everyone, whether you're a member of the YCGS or not. Bring your appetites and your geocaching questions, comments, complaints, and/or stories with you!
If you’re interested in more information about the group, check out this site: http://www.ycgs.org/

This month's meeting is hosted by Brown Bear and the Giggling Jackasses and will be held at the Field House in Etters. This is going to be a great time for all. Yes the Field House is a bar, and I was a bit hesitant myself but after meeting with the owners I know this will be a good time. We have secured a completely separate room from the rest of the establishment. The room has a bar but will be only used by us if we choose. There’s an arcade, a pool table and our own separate bathrooms. So there’s no reason to leave our area. I just checked out the room and with its stone masonry walls, wooden supports and beams it is really cool looking. There will be no smoking in our room as well because of Pa laws and such.

The phone number is (717) 932-6009 and the address is 895 Old Trail Road, Etters, PA. 17319 Meeting time is 6:00pm-Whenever. There will be a few prize drawings. Please post a log if you're planning to attend so we can give them an approximate count.

We have created a bookmark list for the nearby caches in the area, including one in the parking lot and several mere tenths of a mile away. I know your pulse is quickening just thinking about those caches. I’ve tried to address anyone’s concerns but if you have any questions please feel free to send me an email with your questions. We hope to see everyone there!
