Get your boat out! This cache is on a small public island on lovely
Lake Nokomis. Of all the Lake Nokomis Island caches, this one was
the first placed.
Check here for the
different public boat landings on Lake Nokomis. You have a
number of options on how to get to this cache. In the winter, the
terrain on this cache drops to a 2 as a boat won't be required
(obviously), but the difficulty may go up if you have to dig in the
snow (note, multiple DNFs in the winter). Should be a good one for
those ice fishing or snowmobiling on Lake Nokomis. If you take a
Travel Bug, please leave one behind in its place.
The original container was a clear plastic jar, but on 3/21/10
was replaced with an ammo can, as it was thought to be missing. It
was replaced again w/ a plastic jar on 10/8/11

Congrats to "Mathman, SirCumference,The Better Half, & Cutie
Pi" for the FTF. They did it with a boat in the true spirit of this
cache.
On 10/8/2011, the cache was replaced again, with a clear plastic
utz container.
