Escursione sul Monte Meta. Percorso con molte pietre piuttosto impegnativo. Dislivello di circa 800 mt.
Hike on Mount Meta. Route with many stones rather challenging. Vertical drop of 800 meters.
Escursione da fare esclusivamente in belle giornate di sole e in assenza di neve. Preferibili quindi i mesi primaverili o estivi.
Si parte da Prati di Mezzo, nei pressi di Cassino.
Seguire il percorso N1 contrassegnato da segnaletica di color ARANCIONE. Arrivati ai piedi del monte Meta, al passo dei Monaci, poco prima di iniziare la salita della vetta, potete cominciare a cercare il cache.
Raccomando a chiunque intraprenda questa escursione di studiare un minimo il percorso prima della partenza. E' richiesta una buona forma fisica essendo il terreno piuttosto roccioso e faticoso. Raccomando anche di vestirsi a strati; si raggiungono i 2000 metri e fa sempre fresco.

Excursion to be done only in beautiful sunny days and in the absence of snow. Better in spring or summer.
It starts at Prati di Mezzo, close to Cassino.
Follow the path N1 marked by orange signs. Arriving at the foot of Mount Meta, at the pass of the Monks, shortly before beginning the ascent of the summit, you can start looking for the cache.
I recommend anyone take this excursion to study a minimum the route before departure. Good physical status request as the land rather rocky and tiring. I recommend to bring warm clothes because you reach the 2,000 meters and could be cold.
