Geocache Description:

Apache Chief. This is the only other character connected to the justice League to give Aquaman a run for the "Butt of the Joke" award. INUK CHUK!!.

Although he isn't in the comic book stories of the Justice League, he was a part of the "Super Friends" TV show which was based on the Justice League. One of a handful of characters brought in to diversify the Justice League, Apache Chief was a "classic Indian", he spoke few words and always presented a powerful persona.

His main power was given to him via a magic powder. By speaking the words "inuk chuk" (maybe a reference to the inuksuk, giant stone figures built by some Arctic tribes - as depicted on the territorial flag of Nunavut), Apache Chief could grow to unlimited sizes. How tall could he get? In one episode, he grew big enough that the earth was like a small rock. These days he's parodied on " Harvey Birdman" and "Family Guy".

There have been a few characters to appear connected to the Justice League Super Friends based on Apache Chief. One was "Long Shadow", a Native American character with the power to grow in "Justice League Unlimited". Another was "Manitou Raven" who appeared in the comic book series. Manitou Raven, aside from being a very cool update on the character, was not only an Apache, but he also uses the magic words "Inuk Chuk" to cast powerful spells, including making himself grow very tall. And a third was "Tye Longshadow" on Young Justice", a Mescalero Apache boy with the power to create a giant, super-strong, translucent astral body around him that acted as an extension of his own body.

Welcome to Isham Park.
Named for William B. Isham, a wealthy leather merchant, Isham Park is a small, quiet, "naturally beautiful", yet weirdly-shaped park located immediately next to Inwood Park. It's biggest "claim to fame" is the "Inwood marble" that juts out of the ground at the southern edge of the park.

Not far away in Inwood Park, you will find “Shorakapok”, the supposed site where the Lenape Indians made the historically famous sale of Manhattan to Peter Minuit. Also, nearby are the "Indian caves", the location of GC12C44.

Container is a small clear tupperware container that can hold a few small items. Please make sure to replace/rehide as well, if not better, than found. Beware of muggles, they willer literally appear right next to you.

Note: The difficulty for terrain rating is for the slope and instability of the ground (dirt slides easy) of the area. But it's not "dangerous". And... the cache is hidden well.

Congrats to G.O. Cash on the FTF
