Middle Creek at the Mason-Dixon Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no response to the previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Large Camo'd Lock-n-Lock container. Contains Cache Note, Log, Pen, Swag Items, and is large enough to hold several Travel Bugs and Coins.

Please park on Shorb Mill Road rather than the main road to find this cache.

This area is less than 1/2 mile from the Mason-Dixon Line, and the creek you see is the Middle Creek which moved the most water through the Gettyburg Area during the days of the battle. It had not rained in weeks, prior to July 1, 1863, and the creek was very low. Locals would wait until September to finally get the relief of rain, and with it, a fresh supply of unspoiled water.

Please enjoy this cache, and replace it as well, or better than you found it.
