The given coordinates will take you close to the Kameel Guest
Farm. The farm has two Drommedaris camels - it is rumoured that
Kameeldrift got its name from the camels used for patrolling the
area in the "good old days".
The camels can sometimes be seen close to the road, especially
early in the morning and late afternoons. The female camel has a
foul temper and often chases the other livestock around the
farm!
If the camels aren't visible from the roadside, ask for a Farm
Tour - contact the Guest Farm on 082 921 9519 for more
information.
