Milestones @ Mokuleia Traditional Cache
P.Dawg: Not only was the cache gone, but the hiding place and the surrounding area were demolished! Looks as though some folks had their very own private party in the middle of the bushes and trashed the foliage! Unfortunate. Tried looking for another hiding spot but soon gave up. Perhaps this area could host another cache in the near future...

A fairly small cache hidden along one of the amazing beaches of the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
Having recently reached the 100th cache-find milestone, I decided it was time to celebrate by placing another one of my own, so I chose to plant one in one of my favorite areas on the island - Mokuleia.
Also, here I am unveiling my new sig-item-on-a-budget. No signature pathtag or geocoin just yet, but I think it will do.
Here are a few notes on this cache:
1. Mokuleia Beach Park is open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
2. Be careful not to trample the vegetation. Bushwhacking is not necessary to access the cache.
3. Be careful to observe all endangered species regulations, with respect to Hawaiian Monk Seals and Green Sea Turtles. If you see them, do not harass or chase them, and stay at least 100 ft. away from the monk seals, at least 20 feet from green sea turtles.
4. Since this cache is a special milestone cache, the original contents contain some special stuff: the normal logbook & pen & stash note; the Evil Micro - TX; a few new sig-dogtags; an FTF prize; and even a homemade micro container, with a log sheet, for whoever wants to use it (if you take it, though, you must find a place to plant it and register it online. Otherwise, leave it for someone else to use. No guarantees made on its construction, durability or waterproof-ness).
