Geocache Description:

"This is the way the creek ends/
Not with a bang, but a whimper."
- T.C. Eliot

Another odd spot.
Peterson Creek has its source high on the plateau, then winds down through the grasslands until it comes to the edge of the valley in which the city is situated. There it cuts an impressive gorge, coming down over waterfalls and rushing down the southern slopes. Caches are hidden along the way (like Dark Veil and East Rim) where the creek roars its way down the gulley. But as the creek hits the flats in the city, it quietly runs under streets and through culverts to the river. Its last appearance is a short section through a green strip to the east of Pioneer Park. In the last phase, it is a quiet trickle out to the South Thompson River.
The cache will be challenging cache on several levels and will not be an easy find for the inexperienced or the reluctant. Bring your own pencil.
Do not attempt this cache unless you are up to the challenge.
