Geocache Description:

This is a regular lock n lock container containing a log and a few trade items.

Near to the location of this cache is stream gaging station, operated by the U.S. Geological Survey. Since I enjoy rafting on the Conococheague Creek during the summer months, I occasionally come here to check the depth of the creek, especially in spring when I am impatient for the flood waters to subside.

I recommend that you park at N 39° 43.002 W 077° 49.503. The road it is along is between Fairview Rd and Cearfoss Pike. If you are aproaching the cache from Fairview Rd during the spring season you may find the road flooded. If so, I recommend that you come from the opposite direction.
