A small
lock-tight container, holding a log book and some swaps. Just a
regular cache in a picturesque location. There’s a lot of
wildlife in the area including muntjacs, badgers, rabbits, foxes
and a myriad of birdlife. You may well get a view of Digswell
Viaduct. Redzer, Dooley and Max love walking around here - please
say hi if you see them. Good luck and please take a photo if
possible! Do take some time to ensure that the container and its
protective bag are properly sealed.
There are a few
watering holes around this circuit.
The Cowper Arms, by Welwyn North Station, which also has a
café, at N51° 49.460 W0° 11.552 is close to the start/finish
co-ordinates of N51° 49.206 W0° 11.470 and The
Plume of Feathers at N51° 49.355 W0° 9.487 is near Pastry's
Promenade.
Congratulations
to
~*teamtan*~ for being the first to successfully complete the
whole circuit in one go and by foot!
