This is a replacement cache for the original Port Royal Cache
GCY8C9 that was at the same location. Unfortunately the orginal
cache was destroyed by persons unknown along with alot of other
caches that were placed in the Beaufort/Port Royal area at the
time. Forunately, Blue was not at the cache when it was destroyed.
I am very pleased that Blue and the Port Royal Blue cache are back
better then ever. If you did the orginal cache, Blue and I would be
very pleased to have you find the new and improved cache!
NOTE:
Sometime between 03/07/09 and 03/15/09 the cache was muggled
again. Unfortunately, Blue was with the cache when it went missing
this time. I replaced and relocated the cache on 03/21/09
Very simple hide in an often over-looked and under-tended park in
the heart of Port Royal. I recommend starting your hunt at the
trail head N 32.22.993 W 080.41.526. Note this is NOT the location
of the cache just a good place to start out! the cache is located
at the coordinates listed above. The hide is done with an old trick
that I have started to see more and more often. It shouldn't take
you too long to figure it out.
Simple rules to keep in mind:
1. Sign the log book include your username! Web logs that do not
match the log book will be deleted.
2. Practice CITO (cache in trash out). If I notice trash or
vandalism that may be attributed to cachers I will remove the
cache. The new site could use some clean up and i'd really like to
atribute some CITO to this cache.
3. Pictures are great! However, please do not upload pictures of
the current cache, they will be deleted. Pictures of Blue now that
he is gone are welcome along with those of the old caches
4. Logs that mention what the hide is will also be deleted.
