Every Day is Halloween! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Danger!: This cache was jacked up pretty bad by the storms, so we are going to archive. Look for another Halloween cache up here next year! Hopefully the next one will hold up better.

Geocache Description:

A Nighttime cache up in the haunted woods of Pupukea. Bring a bright source of illumination to scare away the spirits and sturdy walking shoes to speed you on your flight.

Good Evening. Please, join the race against the Spirits of the Night, to find the hidden chest of a Old Soul still searching for his lost youth and remembrances of his favorite holiday past, All Hallows Eve. Please bear in mind the eccentricity of this soul, as some collect trinkets of silver and gold...others collect guts and gore.

This is strictly a Halloween Vibe cache, Old Ammo can, no fuzzy, wuzzy, cutesie wootsie loot. Team Danger believes that everyday is Halloween, and weather you enjoy this cache founded this great October of 2008, or this coming spring....keep it spooky.

Park at the spooky camp for little boys, and be forewarned: To find the things you are looking for, you needn't wander up or down any steep sections and take care near the cliffs, lest you volunteer yourself a sacrifice.

You will begin your search at a tombstone to the right of the trail and follow the silver spirit "orbs" until you find drops of "blood". At the drops of blood, look for the Old Soul's collection and his unspeakable items will tell you where to go to pick up the trail. After Stage 2, go back to the main trail and then follow your GPSr.

Also, beware....according to Hawaiian legend, night marchers (huaka‘i po in Hawaiian) are ghosts of ancient warriors. They supposedly roam large sections of the island chain, and can be seen by groups of torches. They can usually be found in areas that were once large battlefields. Legend has it that if you look a night marcher straight in the eye, you will disappear, never to be seen again. Hawaiians say that in the presence of night marchers, one should lie down on their stomach, face down to avoid eye contact.

*UPDATE*
There is some construction going on around the final leg, and while it doesn't interrupt the cache, it can make for a messy experience. Rig for mud!
Also, until we can put something in Stage 2 to re-iterate this, DON'T GO OVER THE HILL!. Walk back to the main trail the way you came after Stage 2 and then follow your GPSr to the starting point for the next stage.
