This cache is located in Shady Valley Park. The park has a basketball court, 3 tennis courts, a multi-purpose field that is usually used for soccer and a nice children’s play area. There are no lights in the park so please only search during the day. Please read the notes below and have a good time finding the cache!
Note #1: It has been brought to my attention by the reviewer that there was a cache located very close to this one 5 years ago that had to be archived due to suspicious and unsavory activities being conducted in the park (not by Geocachers obviously). Hopefully as the area has been developed and surrounded by expensive homes over the last 5 years these types of activities have stopped. Please indicate in the logs if you have any concerns whatsoever or if you see any activities that could potentially put anyone in danger! We will monitor the logs and take the necessary actions if this turns out to be a poor choice for a cache location. Hopefully the problem is a thing of the past but safety must be the first concern.
Note #2: Getting an accurate reading on the GPS was difficult but I think I got it fairly close. In your log entry please let me know how close the coords were and if you found any closer ones. Thanks!
