The Tokyo colliery began in 1935 establishment, and mined the peat to the close of a mine in 1960 chiefly. About 40 employees say at the season that they produced 500 tons every day.
The name has been left in the bus stop though there is already no
Tokyo colliery.
Cache is concealed near the bus stop.

東京炭鉱は、1935年から創業を開始し、1960年の閉山まで主に泥炭を採炭していた。最盛期には40人前後の従業員が毎日500トンを産出していたという。
既に東京炭鉱はありませんが、その名前はバス停に残されています。
