A very nice, wide travelling geocoin. There's no pencil in this cache, so bring your own!
The cache can be found just inside the fence.
At the time of this series being placed there are no functioning caches in Plattfields Park. There are two listed, one of which has been muggled (the photo cache one) and the other is swamped with mud and all but destroyed (the memory bug starter one).
Plattfields park is vast and normally very quiet, so ideal for cache-hunting. Parking is available all the way around the park and your easiest parking/entry point would be Platt Lane which has free and vacant parking all day and night.
My dogs (Boo and Sukie) go to the park every day. It’s great because it’s large size enhances lots of little places to explore, including a lake with hundreds of tame geese & ducks and a tree lined avenue. Dogs can be off lead almost everywhere and the muggles are genuinely friendly.
As this is a good dog walking area in the heartland of suburbia, I have given the cache’s a vaugly canine theme in regards to there contents.
There are 5 cache’s in all; ‘Uno, Dos, Tres, Cuatro and Cinco’ and you are welcome to visit them in any order you like. They are lacking in travel bugs and geocoins, of which there are only one of each placed between the 5, so if you have any move, this site is in need of them.
