How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Micro container hidden on a heavily traveled recreational trail intersection. Bring your own pen/pencil. There is only enough room for the log so no trading items please.

6-3-2011:You may want to bring a paperclip fashioned into a hook to assist with log removal. Please note how the log is stored and replace it properly. The large end of the paper clip attached to the log should be facing out towards the container opening. Please wrap the log tight enough so it will fit easily into the container. Thanks!

The following is the original cache description:

It's funny that I hide a cache here. I'm usually the one who doesn't like to search in places like this.

The whole be-one-with-the-cache-don't-care-how-funny-you-look-with-your-hand-up-a-tree approach may not work well while searching for this one. Watch out for muggles in three directions. (Or more if you're really paranoid. I'm convinced, they fall from the sky sometimes.) It may be better to search for this cache in the evenings, during off seasons or during a monsoon.

There is no need to wonder into the woods or attempt to cross the fence.

I grappled with leaving hints and have decided to leave one for now. I may change my mind. . .
