Caching in Camo!

The years of 1859 to 1866 were very busy years for Abraham Lincoln and were also a time of rail expansion and politician wrangling for Council Bluffs, Iowa. During those years, Abraham Lincoln visited Council Bluffs several times as he held land and several building lots in town. During one of these visits, Lincoln stopped at this gazebo in downtown Council Bluffs and gave a brief address to a small assembled crowd of well wishers from the steps of the gazebo. The gazebo is of fine leaded glass and the floor is of imported tile, workmanship that is of high quality-worthy of a new American President. The gazebo was moved decades later to this residence and stands directly behind you as you look at the cache. Here it graces the gardens and is the focal point of the yard. .
