Easy place to get lost in mist. Terrain is diabolical off track.
A long walk in to the point where you get lost, some 87m from the cache. Area is prone to extremes of weather. Terrain is rocky with thick scrub and some prickles. The payoff is an unusual angle on places more familiar, and solitude.
Access the general area by either walking along the Swampy ridge track, or coming up from Leith Valley via the MTB, Moon or Nichol Creek tracks. The get lost waypoint( S 45 49.218; E 170 29.265) is as good as any other to leave the track and seek the cache.
The cache is above ground, may require some climbing skills.
