This is a two stage multi cache located in Bowdoin Park. The first stage is a cammo'd matchstick container with the coordinates for the final inside. The final is a small container totally hidden but still in sight. Both stages can be found along the RED trail, although the final is close enough to the Yellow that you could find it this way also. Both stages are VERY winter friendly. Start for this one at the trailhead at the end of the soccer fields. From there it is up to you how to continue. There are several other caches in this park along these trails, so choose wisely to hit them all for a nice hike.
Bowdoin Park is located along the Hudson River on Sheaf Rd. in Wappingers Falls and is open from 9am-6pm. Trail maps can usually be found at a kiosk just after the main gate. There is plenty of parking with several pavilions and a nice playground for kids. Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash of no more than 6 feet. Be sure to bring a camera and enjoy this beautiful park.
