This cache is NOT at the given coordinates. The cache is a gallon
plastic jar hidden in a volcano. The cache contains toys, fishing
gear, trinkets, Ian Flemming's "Dr. No" book. And an unregistered
silver "Caching Time" Compass Geocoin for the FTF!
This is Agent 007's final mission. M has sent James Bond to finally
kill Blofeld.
Ernst Stavro Blofeld is James Bond's archenemy. A terrorist
mastermind, he is the leader of SPECTRE.
Little is known of Blofeld's genesis beyond that following the
Second World War he assembled a vast array of criminals into an
organization bent on theft, assassination, and conquest, hence the
organization's acronym Special Executive for Counterintelligence,
Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion.
Blofeld and his organization first crossed paths with Bond when,
investigating the murder of a chief of section in the Bahamas, Bond
discovered Dr. No and his island fortress, from which he interfered
with the guidance systems of United States missiles using a nuclear
powered radio transmitter. Blofeld is not seen , but Dr. No states
his membership in SPECTRE and even briefly considers whether Bond
is worthy of an invitation.
Blofeld's plans have been consistently foiled and frustrated by
James Bond, often with the help of allies such as the US Army and
Japan's Special Intelligence Service headed by "Tiger" Tanaka. His
physical stature is frequently changing, due to his obsession with
changing identities. He is always seen petting a white Persian cat
but other physical traits, such as a scar over one eye, have been
changed surgically.
He operated in secret until James Bond first saw his face in the
You Only Live Twice mission. He has proven hard to kill, frequently
escaping fatal situations of one sort or another, only to return
and bedevil Bond years later.
Blofeld had a short temper, and frequently demonstrated displeasure
with the failures of subordinates by murdering them, often using
misdirection and sometimes using painful and unusual methods to
carry out these executions.
Blofeld's arguably most ambitions scheme ever, came when he
supervised a plan that used a space vehicle capable of entering
orbit and effecting a controlled landing. He ran all of this from
an enormous base constructed within the caldera of an extinct
volcano, with the goal of causing the two superpowers (the USA and
the USSR) to war upon each other. It is in this volcano, with its
fake lake on top, that Blofeld has hidden from Bond.
To find the where Blofelds Volcano is located you must become James
Bond agent 007.
You must complete six missions. Dr No, From Russia With Love.,
Goldfinger, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, and Octopussy. The
objective of each mission is to retrieve the Geo-codes from each
cache and use them in the corresponding Geo-math problem. The
answer of each will give you part of the coordinates for finding
Blofeld.
