Geocache Description:

This is a wonderful walk across the white cliffs of Dover to a very seclude little beach area... Parking is National Trust cost £3-00

Parking co-ordinates.... N 51.07.834
E000.19.985
As said its National Trust Parking @ £ 3-00

So... This walk is a long one across the cliff tops of Dover... Taking in the views of the port.... It is a popular area with loads of walks.... Good Cafe, shop, for refreshments .... Why not make a day of it .... Take a picnic and enjoy... The actual cache is placed very near a secluded little beach ... Wonderful area and some great bits to see from years gone by here... Please note this is a difficult cliffe walk so not suitable for very young children or anyone not happy with hard walk... YOU WILL NEED A PEN TO FILL IN THE LOG...
The cache can take small items/coins etc.... It has a bangle watch... and an I love geocaching badge in .... Have fun and please cover well..
Now as seen on Secret Britain ... here is more detail of the cache area..
Down a steep zig zag path cut directly into the cliffs. This leads to Langdon Bay and the searchlight positions that once watched over the channel. But Langdon Bay has another secret. One only revealed at low tide and by a steep scramble down a ladder. On the beach is the wreck of the Steam Ship Falcon. The Falcon set sail in October 1926 heavily laden with a cargo of jute and matches. An unfortunate and highly flammable combination. She caught fire just off Dover and Langdon Bay is her final resting place.

This Cach is only accessable during the day parking closes at 6pm... not recommended for night time caching...
