Trittsicherheit unbedingt erforderlich.
Fixed rope route, difficulty A -B, it's
absolutely necessary to be free from giddiness;
Dieser Cache führt über ca 700 Höhenmeter durch das große Höllental
und über den
Teufelsbadstubensteig,
einen versicherten Klettersteig der Kategorie A - B, teilweise
ausgesetzt. Das Mitführen von Klettersteigset und Steinschlaghelm
sollte selbstverständlich sein.
Von allen gesicherten Raxsteigen ist jener durch die
Teufelsbadstube einer der bekanntesten und zugleich auch
beliebtesten.
Parkplatz:
N = 47° 44.789
E = 015° 45.714
Gleich schräg gegenüber des Parkplatzes beginnen mehrere Anstiege.
Folge dem Wegweiser über die Schönbrunnerstiege zum
Teufelsbadstubensteig, ca. 1,6 km ins Große Höllental, bis Du zum
Einstieg am Wandfuß gelangst.
Da wegen der Felswände keine genauen Koordinaten zu ermitteln
waren, wird hier auf eine genaue Angabe verzichtet.
Bevor Du Dich auf den Weg durch die Wand machst, betrachte noch das
Schild "Teufelsbadstubensteig" am Fuß der Felswand.
Es ist mit 4 Schrauben befestigt, aber wieviele freie Löcher hat
das Schild noch zusätzlich? Verwende die Anzahl der zusätzlichen
Löcher für "A".
Nun mach Dich auf den Weg.
Nach etwa einem Drittel des Steiges - kurz vor einer langen
Eisenleiter - befindet sich das Steigbuch in einer
Felsnische.
Mit wie vielen Metallbeinen ist das Steigbuch an der Wand
befestigt? Nimm die Anzahl für "B".
Nun steige weiter und zähle die Sprossen der langen Eisenleiter
unmittelbar nach dem Steigbuch - die Anzahl ergibt
"C".
Folge dem Steig nun weiter bis Du kurz vor dem Einstieg in den
Kamin stehst. Hier befinden sich 2 Gedenktafeln in Sichtweite
voneinander: zuerst eine an der rechten Wegseite, kurz darauf eine
Tafel auf der linken Wegseite.
Betrachte die Tafel zu Deiner Linken nun genauer: Welche Ziffer
kommt hier am häufigsten vor? Verwende diese Ziffer für
"D".
Setze Deinen Weg nun bis zum Ausstieg fort, um dann in Ruhe die
Cache - Koordinaten zu berechnen.
CACHE:
N = 47° 44.0(C + A*D + B*B + 2)
E = 015° 45.(A*B*C + C*D + 14)
Die Box ist eine 600 ml Lock-Lock-Box, die schneesicher versteckt
ist.
Für den Abstieg bietet sich z.B. der Wachthüttelkamm an
(Schwierigkeit A), wo man auch
den gleichnamigen Cache von Defenseless finden kann.

This cache leads you up to 700 meters of
altitude difference, through the "Großes Höllental" and along the
Teufelsbadstubensteig.
It's a fixed rope route, therefore you need a climbing harness and
a rock climbing helmet.
This hill climbing is one of the most common and popular at the
Rax.
Parking site:

Diagonally opposite the parking site you find the trailheads of
some routes. Follow the directory "Teufelsbadstubensteig", about
1,6 km through "Großes Höllental", till you reach the access of
"Teufelsbadstubensteig".
Due to the bad reception, we abstained from concrete
coordinates.
At first look for the plate "Teufelsbadstubensteig" at the ground
of the rock face.
It is fixed at the rock with 4 screws, but how many extra holes
without a screw can you find on the plate? Take the value for
"A".
Now go up.
Having covered about one third of the route - quite near the bottom
of a very long ladder - you can find a trailbook in a container.
How many metal arms are used to fix the container on the
rock?
Take the number for "B".
Now go up the ladder and count the rungs - take the value for
"C".
Follow the path till you reach the beginning of a funnel. Here you
can find at first a plate on the right side, short later a plate on
the left side.
Which digit is the most often one on the left plate? Take this
digit for "D".
You can calculate the cache coordinates at the end of the
route.

The box is a 600 ml Lock-Lock-Box, it is not hidden on the
ground.
To descend we recommend f.e. the Wachthüttelkamm (diff. A) where
